Onvz

Director: Rupert Sanders

The idea behind Onvz was to contrast the harshness of the urban landscape with the fragility of the human form. This seemed to be better executed in black and white. As the tonal palette is simplified, the textures of the subjects become more descriptive.

The look for Onvz came out of my love for experimentation in the dark room. It was through the use of black and white filters that I was able to control the contrast and tonal range of the piece and vary this from scene to scene.
